mangrel9 – one thousand words a day
here’s my latest great idea – write one thousand words a day. it’s not my idea really; it spun off of the idea of nanomo (national novel month) during which thousands of people worldwide write a fifty-thousand word novel within the span of a month. what is that, 1,613 words per day. shit maybe i’ll just do that. or maybe i should just go for it and write two or three-thousand words a day. man. i’m having trouble keeping up with this blog. what am i going to do? really.
it sucks to have all of these ideas going around inside me, lives that aren’t my own, memories that are pure fiction, and not be able to give them voice on paper. so i’ll just keep moving forward. little by little. the thousand word days are nice to think about. i need to set something up that i can manage, day by day, not some grand scheme for producing the great american novel.
